We really need to be vigilant now on the Covid-19 pandemic front. Just yesterday we talked about how the United Arab Emirates was managing the Covid 19 situation pretty well and how in August the number had actually gone down. The country has just reported more than 1000 cases for the second time since the pandemic broke out and this is quite a disappointing bit of news. With the reopening of schools and many students going back to campus full-time, we really have to be careful on how we maintain the safety precautions that the government has prescribed on how to contain this deadly virus and we must follow the protocols in order to avoid a second outbreak which at the moment seems on its way across the world particularly in Europe.
As is happening in many places around Europe we noticed that even in Dubai there is a certain relaxation of attitude towards wearing masks for example or we are seeing a gathering in places where there are a lot of people, and just general non-compliance of best practice protocols during this pandemic.
We all need to be vigilant we all need to be careful and we really need to cooperate and collaborate towards helping Dubai and this country from going back to where and when the pandemic was broke out.
