Sports and Outdoor Facilities
A large covered swimming pool, cricket nets and playing fields complement the indoor sports arena and multi-purpose hall. A separate, well-equipped, grassed playing area is available for students from Kindergarten to Year 2.
The school has five ICT labs have over 180 computers available for students. All the computers are connected to the school’s network running on the Microsoft Server 2003. Students are also provided with full Internet connectivity.
Music and Art Facilities
Two well-stocked art studios and a music studio provide students with a wide array of resources for artistic expression and exploration.
The school has two well stocked libraries, one for the primary school and the other for the secondary school. The secondary library is also equipped with networked computers for students and staff to use.
The teaching emphasis for science is firmly placed on experimentation and investigation, using scientific skills, processes and knowledge to solve problems. To support this approach the school has 4 purpose built, fully equipped science laboratories and 2 full time science technicians. The labs are also fitted with interactive white boards.
The multi-purpose sports hall is the main indoor teaching space for the Physical Education Department. It is marked out and fitted with all the equipment needed to teach the usual array of indoor sports. Adjacent to the hall are separate boys and girls changing rooms.
Astroturfed Football Field
The school has a standard sized football pitch which is astroturfed. Interhouse and Interschool matches are conducted in this field. The sports days are also conducted in this field.
The School has 2 hygienic medical rooms, equipped to regulatory standards. Both the medical rooms are staffed by a full time Nurse. Our in-house Doctor attends to the first aid requirements of students and staff should the need arise. All cases of injury or illness receive immediate medical attention.
All students receive regular medical examinations and our dispensary works in close conjunction with the Government of Dubai, Department of Health and Medical Services and Primary Health Care Section.
Bright Bus Company and the school work closely to provide safe journey to our children. Airconditioned buses operate throughout Dubai, Sharjah and part of Ajman.
Text-books, work-books and stationery are available at the school store in accordance with prescribed books for each class and subject options.
A well maintained canteen sells healthy snacks and drinks during break times. Hygiene and strict quality control of food are regarded as top priority.

Each student is a member of one of four different Houses, each named after a Middle Eastern bird: Eagles, Falcons, Hawks and Kestrels. They are led by the House Captain and House Vice Caiptain. These Houses form the basis of many sporting, artistic and intellectual challenges across the school including inter-house competitions and the accumulation of house points.

Cambridge International School holds inter-house sporting competitions and plays friendly and League matches against other Dubai and Arabian Gulf schools on a regular basis.
Students at Cambridge International School participate in a planned progression of outdoor experiences that take place in Fujairah, and Mauratius. The outdoor activities include rafting, mountain biking, camping, rock climbing, canoeing, and diving. All students from Year 1 and upwards are encouraged to participate in the Environment Club. These activities allow students to develop universal values for the society at large, leadership skills and greater self confidence as relationships with peers and teachers are strengthened through various environmental club activities.
Dance is taught as an integral part of the compulsory Physical Education programme. Through dance our students learn to explore basic body actions so that they can create and repeat short dances inspired by themes and music.
