A secure yet stimulating environment where the qualified team focuses on stimulating the five senses in accordance with the stages of a child’s development. Key milestone developments are monitored and curiosity and confidence encouraged with age appropriate activities.
The Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum is applied to make use of creativity, exploration and imagination through a diverse and structured programme to help children broaden their communicative, social, cognitive and self-help skills.
The British Early Years Foundation Stage is a broad based curriculum with six primary focus areas:•Social & emotional development
•Communication, language & literacy
•Problem solving, reasoning & numeracy
•Knowledge & understanding of the world
These activities are designed to provide the children with a balanced and harmonious day. At the end of the school day, children are encouraged to rest and relax and if they wish, to take an afternoon nap in their personal sleeping pod. Once refreshed, there is time to enjoy a structured yet entertaining play time. Tea is served at 4pm and as the children wind down for the evening, they enjoy stories and reflective time.
